How our balanced approach is different:

Balanced dog behavior goes beyond just physical exercise; it's a triad of physical activity, mental engagement, and sufficient rest.

Over-exercising a dog can lead to them becoming "wired" rather than tired, building stamina instead of promoting calmness.

An overtired dog may exhibit behaviors like inability to settle, increased sensitivity, difficulty concentrating on training, destructive chewing, and excessive panting or pacing.

Mental stimulation, through activities like puzzle toys, scent work, or impulse control training, is crucial and can be more tiring than physical exertion.

Proper rest is often overlooked, yet essential, as dogs need ample sleep and a quiet space to truly switch off.

Ultimately, a balanced routine that incorporates all three elements leads to a content, calm, and well-behaved dog.
